This is a photograph taken by Peter D. one of the guys on TECH at my school. The photograph was taken for our school play. After taking the photographs they were handed off to me by Peter so I could select the one that we would use and then edit it so that it looked like a 1930's style photograph (a black and white that is hand colored). In order to achieve this effect I used varous filters and setting adjustments in Adobe Photoshop. Do you think it looks like a 1930's photograph?
Interesting...
did you say "hand colored"?
because it still looks like a crapy (bad camera) photo.
and your effect is horible. it stinks. I advise a little blur. it may help look a little less 'pixelized'. it looks like it came out of my old crappy printer. (even on best setting it printed with about a .5 millimeter space between each dot.
i think that if you removed the color, and painted it then, with a super low density, you know, so you can still pick up the shading, then it would work...but i can see where you are going, but i think that you need to try a little harder.
